Experience Gardner Festival and Sidewalk Sale
The 71st Experience Gardner Festival and Sidewalk Sale was held August 6th and 7th. Under sunny skies, members of Square Two and outside vendors filled the blocked off Downtown with bargains, crafts and handmade items. CLICK HERE FOR 2011 INFO
Alan LeBlanc, Chairperson of the Festival, said “I had a difficult time finding available space for all the outside vendors who paid to come to our event. We even turned a few away.” In addition to the additional vendors, Square Two sponsored a few contests and events. We had 15 partici¬pants for the Build-A-Chair competition, and the Wildcat “Howl” challenge was a real howl. Vendors came from all over Massachusetts, and surrounding states to join us at the tourist Mecca of New England… Gardner.
The Snack Shack is Square Two’s food booth at this event. Thank you Directors Carol Cormier and her family and Jim Gallant and his family who operated the 2-day booth. And thank you to the LeBlanc Family and friends who, year after year, run our Chinese Auction.
This Festival would not be possible without the support of our sponsors including, Country Fuel,, John’s Sport Shop, Outback Laundry, Ovila Case Post 905 VFW, Scotty’s Potty’s, SpeeDee Oil Change and Tune Up, Workers’ Credit Union, and Supporters of Gardner Square Two.
