3rd Annual Gardner Chair Lugé

- Teams must consist of 2 members.
- All Participants must sign the attached waiver. No one under the age of 16.
- Helmets must be worn.
- Your Lugé must be a homemade contraption with a definable chair (Seat & Back) attached, with minimum of 3 wheels.
- NO motors or motorized vehicles such as go-carts and NO go-cart frames
- Braking and Steering systems are optional, but you must be able to demonstrate to the safety judge that you can stop your Lugé; if you cannot you will be not allowed to race.
- The Lugé can only be pushed in the “Push Zone” (Approximately 10ft). Any team member that pushes the Lugé beyond the push zone will be put in last for that race.
- Only 1 participant allowed on chair at a time.
- Everyone will get at least 3 runs…but depending on the amount of racers and time frame that number could be less.
- Every Lugé will go through an inspection by the safety judge and he will have the last say if your Lugé will be allowed to race. If you are deemed not to race you will have until 1:00PM to fix your Lugé and will be inspected by the safety judge again. So the earlier you arrive for the race the earlier you can get inspected.
- The Deadline for Registration is September 24, 2011 at 12:00PM. NO one will be accepted after that time.

13. ENTRY FEE: $30 per Team
14. There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. 1st place is a Cash Prize of $200.00 and Bragging rights for the year. There will also be prizes for best costume and the Peoples’ choice for best Lugé.
