2012 Season’s Greetings at Monument Park: Cancelled
The Season’s Greetings event originally scheduled for Sunday, November 25, 2012 at 4:30 in Monument Park has been cancelled.
Because of the generosity of our community and Leadership Gifts received from Heywood Hospital, United Water, Price Chopper/ Nichols Square, Acadien Social Club, Boucher Funeral Home, Salvadore Auto Group, and Ward 5 Councilor James Johnson, there will be lights in Monument Park. And Monument Park will be decorated by December 2nd.
Although we typically light Monument Park on the Sunday after Thanksgiving, this year is not typical. Due to a lack of financial support from the City Council, Square Two worked to secure donations from its members and the business community so that it could put on the holiday lighting display. It will just be delayed one week.
Please join us on Sunday, December 2nd, for the Holiday Stroll & Tree Lighting in Lafayette Square in Downtown Gardner.
