4th Annual Gardner Chair Lugé & Oktoberfest

This unique event brings out the kid in all of us! Clubs, businesses, and ad hoc groups come together to form teams that compete for cash prizes. Each team enters a non-motorized chair vehicle that they have designed and built. The vehicles are lined up on the hill on Parker Street, across from the Insurance Center of New England. That portion of Parker Street is closed to traffic during the event. Spectators gather to cheer their teams on.
