The ever-popular Chair Lugé and Oktoberfest are still part of the festival! We’re just adding a whole lot more of Fabulous Family Fun! Join us on Saturday, September 27 from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. for shopping in the street with Downtown Shops and Crafters, Food Court, Kids Zone, Chinese Auction, Costume Parade, Line Dancing, and so much more! SUPER HEROES OF ALL AGES:
Don your capes and join us on August 1st in Dowtown Gardner at the 75th Annual Experience Gardner Festival & Sidewalk Sale for the Super Hero Parade. Meet at John’s Sport Shop, 38 Main Street. The parade will stroll through Downtown Gardner, making its way to the Bank of America Stage.
Pancoast received a Grammy Award nomination for Best Children’s Album for her one-of-a-kind CD, “Weird Things Are Everywhere: A Reading Road Trip with Judy Pancoast,” in 2011. She is known world-wide for her holiday hit “The House on Christmas Street” which is used in thousands of Christmas displays each holiday season, and has received over a million combined hits on YouTube.
Costumed local Super Heroes of all ages are invited to join Judy’s troupe of teen dancers, The Judy Crew, in the festival’s Super Hero parade. Participants will meet at John’s Sport Shop, 38 Main Street, at 11:00 A.M. The parade will stroll through Downtown, making its way to the Bank of America Stage, where Ms. Pancoast will top off the parade with her song, “Superman Can.”
At the conclusion of the parade, Judy Pancoast will perform her one-hour concert, “Bubble Gum Pop for Sweet Kids,” which will officially begin at 11:30 A.M. In the event of rain, the concert will be held in the Children’s Room at Levi Heywood Memorial Library.
Judy’s outrageously fun family performances have created a ruckus throughout the USA wherever children and families gather, most notably at the New York A-list fundraiser, Kids 4 Kids Carnival for the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric Aids Foundation, and the Robert DeNiro Tribeca Film Festival Street Fair, also in NYC.
More information about Judy may be found on her website at www.judypancoast.com.
